Live in Tokyo, and loving it!!
Shinjuku, Shibuya (JAPAN )

Vandaag staat Shibuya op de planning, waar we een kijkje gaan nemen vanaf de 46ste verdieping van......nou ja als je ooit in Tokyo bent moet je er maar naar op zoek gaan, maar het is "one of the best free gifts Tokyo has to offer" Je kan vanaf die plek over heel Tokyo heen kijken, en met goed weer, zelfs de heilige berg Fuji zien.... Uiteraard zal ik dat wel even filmen, plus een hint geven waar je dit gebouw kan vinden ;)
Gisteren zijn we naar Shinjuku geweest, en het allerdrukste kruising ter wereld aanschouwd. Zeer indrukwekkend en als westerling ontmoedigend om er over te steken whahaha.... Dagelijks gaan hier naar schatting 2,5 miljoen voetgangers per dag van en naar de metrostation of om iemand te ontmoeten. Dit kruispunt zat ook als thema verwerkt in the fast and the furious 3. We zijn verder nog wat wezen rondkijken, leuke shops gevonden waar we wederom wat goodies hebben gescoord (Fist of the Northstar voor de ps2!!!) Na het avondeten zijn we nog de authentiek wijk Asakusa ingedoken op zoek naar kado's voor het thuisfront, veel winkeltjes waren al dicht. Dus dit gaan we alsnog morgen even doen.
Today we planned to visit Shibuya, to view Tokyo from the 46th floor of.....well figure that out when you come to Tokyo yourself ;) But it's one of the greatest free gifts Tokyo has to offer. Of course I'm gonna put this view on film, including a hint of where you can find this building :) When you do find it, and it's a clear day, you can even see mountain Fuji in the distance.
Yesterday we've been to Shinjuku to see the busiest intersection in the world. This intersection was also used as a theme in the fast and the furious 3. This intersection is so busy, it disancourage you to cross it, being a foreigner and all....there are too many people crossing it, about 2,5 million people cross this intersection every day, to or from the subway-station or to meet someone at the main exit area.... After dinner in a nice restaurant we went to Asakusa to find goodies for the people back home, but because many stores were closed we decided to do some last shopping tomorrow.
